Modern life has taken its toll on all of us. Navigating a pandemic and living with the threat of Covid has brought anxiety and uncertainty to everyone, as well as impacting our mental health. These are the challenges we all face now. Alyce is offering Life Coaching in the form of 1.1 Soul Sessions as a way to bring self-care and transformation during these challenging times. She uses her embodied practices along with craniosacral therapy - to help clients release tension, take weight off their shoulders, and envision a new future where you can thrive.
Before training in several alternative and holistic treatment practices, Alyce worked in advertising and then ran a media business for ten years. While she appreciated the independence and opportunities that came from this, the industry left her fatigued and burnt out. Learning to rest her body and recognizing the benefits of rest was the first step towards a new career. Now, Alyce can guide people along the same discovery path that she walked when regaining her energy and healing. Changing her career to coaching allows her to give to others what has benefitted her so significantly. Her Craniosacral therapy training helped her to regulate her nervous system, release tension and develop a dynamic self-care practice for women who are looking to transform and manifest the life they truly would like to live.
I went to see Alyce when I was at a crossroads in my life. Yet, I did not know that this was where I was. Most of my time I spent in a state of tension, delusion and discomfort with myself and where I was heading.
She picked up quickly on what was going on for me. Feeling comfortable during our first session helped us to get to the truth of what was going on for me. I do have to say I felt a sense of ease after that first time, and found a knowing within me on what to do next.
Now, a few years later, I would like to offer a thank you for shifting me out of a position I felt stuck in, and helping my heart to open to possibilities that unfold in front of me and to what it is that I truly desire. Anya Shadykova - Family Therapist, Auckland
